Area School Closings For Friday, Jan. 10
Due to the forecasted inclement weather

Due to the forecasted inclement weather the following schools will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025:
LINCOLN COUNTY: Closed for Students; Staff will operate on an Optional Workday with an early release as needed.
LINCOLN CHARTER - LINCOLN: Closed for Students
LINCOLN CHARTER - DENVER: Closed for Students
CATAWBA COUNTY: Closed for Students; Optional Teacher Workday; Quest will also be Closed; District-wide Spelling Bee postponed and is rescheduled for Friday, February 7. Report cards will be sent home when students return to school next week.
CLEVELAND COUNTY: Closed for Students; Optional Teacher Workday with an optional early dismissal time of 11:30 a.m.
GASTON COUNTY: Remote Learning Day for Students; All school events, including athletics, are canceled Friday and this weekend. Friday will be a workday for employees. Teachers and all other employees will be sent home from work at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, and all schools and central office locations will close at 11:30 since inclement weather is expected to begin around lunchtime.
