Betty Proctor Hallman

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Betty Proctor Hallman, age 80, of Rock Dam Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Betty was born January 21, 1944, in Lincoln County, to the late Ansel “Pinkney” Proctor and Allie Mae McSwain Proctor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Proctor, and a sister, Ruby Mosteller. She worked for Lighthouse Christian Bookstore.
She is survived by her husband, David Hallman of the home; stepson, Marty Hallman (Pam) of Lincolnton; brothers, Eugene Proctor of Simpsonville, S.C., and Calvin Proctor of Conover; sister, Doris Rankin of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Neely Miller (Arthur) of Lincolnton, Jennifer Hallman of Greer, S.C., and Sadie Mae Hallman of Lincolnton; and great-granddaughter, Hazel Miller.
