Community Donation Drive Launched To Support Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts
LINCOLNTON, N.C. — In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, our community is coming together to support those affected by the devastating storm. Grounded Coffeehouse is organizing a donation drive to collect essential items for residents and their pets who are in desperate need.
The storm left many families without access to basic necessities such as water, food and hygiene products. In addition to these essentials, donations of pet food for dogs, cats and livestock are critically important, as many animals have also been impacted.
Grounded Coffeehouse will be collecting donations throughout the week and are planning a major delivery on Friday. If you would like to contribute, they are accepting the following items:
· Bottled water
· Non-perishable food items
· Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
· Baby formula and diapers
· Pet food for dogs, cats, and livestock
For those who wish to donate but are unable to provide physical items, cash donations and Venmo contributions are welcome. They will be making a trip to Sam’s Club to purchase supplies and any funds received will go directly toward buying what’s most needed. Every bit helps and even the smallest donation can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the storm.
If you would like to donate, please reach out to them for more information or to arrange a drop-off. Together, we can bring hope and relief to our neighbors and their pets during this challenging time.
Donation Information:
· Contact: Bryson and Brytni Brooks (828) 962-7210
· Drop-off location: Grounded Coffeehouse 2657 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092
Let’s show the strength of our community by supporting those who need it most. Thank you for your generosity and compassion!
