Helping many local children have a brighter Yuletide season
DALLAS––The volunteers of Dallas-High Shoals Christian Ministry are preparing for Christmas right now.
On Thursday, they released a joint statement that details all they’re getting ready for. In part, in reads:
“The countdown to Christmas has begun! Christmas sponsorship is now open. Help us make this holiday season bright for low-income children, seniors and the local unhoused. Anyone can sponsor: individuals, families, friends groups, civic groups, churches, businesses, etc. More information is being added as we process the applications. Keep checking for updates!”
Christmas applications are now available. Applicants must live in Dallas, Alexis, Stanley or High Shoals. Children can range from infancy up to 18 years of age. Special-needs applicants are also welcome. The ministry is providing each child with at least one want, one need and one educational item.
