Dave Killian Wraps Up Blues (And More) Out Back Music Series Saturday
This concert was rescheduled from August 3 due to rain
DALLAS, N.C. - Blues Out Back, the popular music series hosted by the Gaston County Museum of Art & History, wraps up this summer’s series with a performance by Dave Lillian on Saturday, September 21 at 6 p.m.
Admission is $5 for those 13 and over, and free to Museum members.
Gastonia native Dave Killian has been singing and playing a variety of instruments for more than 20 years and is best known for his blend of acoustic and alternative rock and blues and adult contemporary music. His voice has been described as having “a rich tonal quality, expressive range, and full of emotion.” He captures listeners with his clarity, control, and harmonious blend of melody and nuance, and audiences often compare his sound to Dave Matthews’.
“We’re excited to have Dave Killian finish out our summer series,” said Museum Director Ali Pizza. “The back gardens of the Museum are a perfect setting for these concerts. This week, we’ll have cold beverages for sale as well as a local favorite food truck, Will’s Doggn’ It Deli. Bring your family, a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening of music outdoors.”
