Dolores Ceja Sanchez

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Dolores Ceja Sanchez, 79, of Lincolnton died Thursday, October 17, 2024 at AT the decedent's home.
Born March 14, 1945 in Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico she was the daughter of the late Julio Ceja Mendoza and Esther Sanchez Ochoa. Dolores loved to dance, take a shot of tequila with her grandson, Jose Zambrano, and once in a while drink a very cold beer.
Dolores is survived by eight children, Luis Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton, Manuel Garcia Ceja of Thomasville, Ga., Jesus Garcia Ceja of Union City, Calif., Olga Lidia Romero of Aiken, S.C., Maria Garcia Ceja of Iron Station, Jose Juan Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton, Sara Garcia Ceja of Wilmington, Del., Amparo Garcia Ceja of Lincolnton; and many grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband Luis Garcia Rodriquez who passed on September 8, 2008.
The funeral mass will be held 3 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church located at 720 West 13th Street, Newton, NC 28658.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28602.
She will be laid to rest at Panteón Municipal de Chavinda, Chavinda Municipality, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico.
