Doris Dellinger Carpenter
Doris Dellinger Carpenter, age 83, of Hill Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Pearl Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Hugh Whitfield and Rev. Dr. Alan Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. at Pearl Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carpenter was born June 4, 1941, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Wayne Mikle Dellinger and Helen O’Donoghue Dellinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marty Carpenter; and infant daughter, Lori Ann Carpenter. She worked in grocery.
She is survived by her husband, Frankie Carpenter of the home; brother, W.M. Dellinger (Lillian) of Iron Station; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
