Gail Elizabeth Dellinger Wilson
Gail Elizabeth Dellinger Wilson, age 79, of The Greens at Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Gail was born January 2, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late Arvil and Mattie Smith Dellinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne David Heller; brothers, Harold, Shirley, Bob, Paul, and Leonard Dellinger; and sisters, Maxine Stamey, Frances Davis, Katherine Beal, and Margaret Dellinger. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a daughter, Josette Heller Story (Tracy); sons, Ty Heller (Dawn) of Lincolnton, and Joe Wilson (Julie) of Shelby; brother, Dwight Dellinger (Judy) of Maiden; grandchildren, Thomas Story (Briana) of Lincolnton, Kyle Story of Charlotte, Anna Mehel (Bryson) of Sacramento, CA, and Annie and Lily Wilson of Shelby; and great-grandchildren, Hadley and Levi Story.
Upon her wishes, a family gathering will be held at a later date to scatter her ashes.
