Hal Neal Parker
Hal Neal Parker, age 83, of Springs Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Sarah Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Parker was born May 20, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late Walter Frank Parker, Jr. and Rosie Lee Lynch Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel M. Parker. He served in the Unites States Army in the border patrol division of Germany and Russia. Hal owned and operated Hal Parker Nationwide Insurance Agency for eighteen years.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Morrison Parker of the home; two daughters, Deanna P. Crump (Michael) of Ellenboro, NC, and Cameron P. Tucker of Mocksville, NC; three grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson, Nolan Tucker, and Olivia Tucker; and a sister, Susan Parker of Maiden.
