James “Jim” Patrick Harrison
October 18, 1948 – October 16, 2024
NEWTON, N.C. - James “Jim” Patrick Harrison, age 75, of Newton passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton.
He was born October 18, 1948 in Caldwell County and was the son of the late James Lloyd and Margaret Wood Harrison. He proudly served in the US Navy and was a member of Living Word Church in Maiden. In addition to his parents, two sisters, Lucy McCrary and Janice Clark preceded him in death.
Left to cherish memory is his wife of 55 years Wilma “Willie” Brown Harrison of the home; two daughters Sarah Harrison and Leia Harrison both of the home; brother John Harrison of Climax.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Living Word Church in Maiden with Pastor Brennan Travis officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.
Entombment will be held Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Catawba Memorial Park with Pastor Brad Davis officiating.
