Jane Roxanne Elmore Mays
February 15, 1957 - May 19, 2026
MAIDEN, N.C.—Jane Roxanne Elmore Mays, age 69, of Maiden, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
Roxanne was born February 15, 1957, in Lincoln County, to the late E.B. Elmore and Guy Nell Sain Elmore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Martin Mays, and brother Steve Elmore. She worked for and retired from Vermont American after 30 years. She had love for all animals, including her dogs, and was such a sweet soul with an infectious laugh. She was an amazing friend as well.
She is survived by a daughter, Trina Willis Begue (Jerami) of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Skylar Finley, Trinity Finley, and Gavin Finley, all of Lincolnton.
No services are planned at the present time.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Mays family.
