Jimmy Monroe Pugh

VALE, N.C. - Jimmy Monroe Pugh, age 85, of Reeps Grove Church Road in Vale, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Mr. Pugh was born December 17, 1938, in Gwinnett County, Ga., son of the late James and Bessie Pugh. He was a member of Hulls Grove Baptist Church, and a born-again Christian.
Mr. Pugh is survived by his wife, Faye Totherow Pugh of the home; daughter, Robin Pugh Collins of Cedar Bluff, Ala.; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; step-son, Jeff Therrell of Vale; and step-daughters, Denise Hawkins of Rome, Ga., and Tamara Martin of Vale.
A funeral service for Mr. Pugh will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Hulls Grove Baptist Church in Vale, with Reverend Travis Elmore and Bobby Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
