Karen “Libby” Icard Reel

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Karen “Libby” Icard Reel, age 73, of Landers Church Road in Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Gates officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
“Libby” was born May 11, 1951, in Lincoln County, to the late Clyde (C.L.) Leroy Icard and Mary Ethel Poole Icard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Larry Reel, two brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Steven Reel of the home; three daughters, Suzanne Allen (Chris) of Shelby, Beth Reel (Todd) and Stella Martin, all of Lincolnton; brother, Butch Icard of North Carolina; sisters, Frances Franklin of Maiden, and Diane Jones of Bessemer City; six grandchildren, Josh, Jessica, Wesley, Luke, Jenna, and Tanner; and five great-grandchildren.
Warlick Funeral Home of Lincolnton, N.C. is serving the Reel family.
