Lincoln County Work First Family Assistance County Plan 2026- 2028 and Public Comment
Purpose: Because we are an Electing County, we retain the power to design a program specifically tailored to meet the needs of families and everyone within them, allowing us to fully believe in our capacity to create the best possible support system. To inform our new strategy, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of previous plans, identifying both achievements and areas for improvement. We also thoroughly assessed recent shifts in the county's demographics, economic landscape, and workforce needs, actively engaging stakeholders including the community college, local businesses, community partners, faith leaders, and most importantly, our families.

Plan and Comment Forms: A copy of the plan is available for review at the Department of Social Services at 1136 East Main St. Lincolnton, NC. Public Comment Forms may be picked up at the Department of Social Services and submitted in person or submitted electronically.
