Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” Caskey Bartholomew
Margaret Elizabeth “Peggy” Caskey Bartholomew, age 93, of Stanley Total Living Center, and formerly of Forum Lane in Iron Station, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Caskey and Rev. Jim McQuiston officiating. Burial will follow in the Iron Station Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Peggy was born April 25, 1931, in Gaston County, to the late Charles Clay Caskey and Ida McAllister Caskey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clay Caskey, Sam Caskey, Richard Caskey, Graham Caskey, Cary Neal “Andy” Caskey, and Johnny Caskey; and sisters, Charles Alexander, Mary Peeler, and Martha Bennis. She worked in insurance as a senior account manager.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy Bartholomew (Penny) of Denver, Mark Bartholomew (Ginger) of Iron Station, and Dennis Bartholomew (Robin) of Unionville, NC; brother, Joe David Caskey of Iron Station; sister, Pat Bradshaw of Iron Station; grandchildren, Lauren Bartholomew, Neal Bartholomew, Haley B. Martin, Casey Bartholomew, and Zoe B. Richard; and three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emma, and Eva.
