Rodney “Rod” Lewis Ingle
January 18, 1972 – September 12, 2024
MAIDEN, N.C. - Rodney “Rod” Lewis Ingle, 52, of Maiden, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at his residence.
He was born January 18, 1972 in Catawba County to Dale Lewis Ingle and Jeanette Davis Ingle of Newton. Rod was a member of Denver Baptist Church and employed with McCreary Modern. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, exploring new places, ball games, BBQing, and bonfires. Rod was Miranda’s soul mate, the love of her life, and her best friend. He was the very best husband and father. Rod loved his family so much and loved his God even more.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ivey and Ila Ingle; maternal grandparents, Nathan and Elsie Davis; and a nephew Austin Travis.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 14 years Miranda McGee Ingle of the home; daughter Gracie Hass and husband Noah of Newton; stepdaughter Macy Burris of Maiden; stepson Michael McGee and wife Kaycee of Newton; father and mother Dale Lewis Ingle and Jeanette Davis Ingle of Newton; sister Cynthia Hayes and husband David of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Natalie McGee (who called him “Grumps”); and a host of nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Rod’s life will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 7 p.m. at Denver Baptist Church. Rev. Patrick Lowman and Rev. Blaine Boyd will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-7 p.m.
