Rodney Walker White
Rodney Walker White, age 52, of Cat Square Road in Vale, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the Family Cemetery, 1364 Cat Square Road in Vale, with Rev. Rick Landers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Rodney was born July 31, 1972, in Haysi, Virginia, to Barbara Viers Mann and the late William White. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Haley White. Rodney worked as a cattle farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Zelms White of the home; daughters, Sheyenne Destiny White (Justin Scott Long) of Shelby, and Brooke White Nixon (Dalton Nixon); parents, Steve and Barbara Mann of Vale; brothers, Michael White and Christopher White (Renae), all of Vale; and grandchildren, Myla Nixon, Davyn Nixon, Harper Nixon, Hallie Nixon, Jossilyn Long, Raven Long, and Greenleigh Leach.
He will be missed by numerous family and friends.
