Town of Mooresville, N.C. Notice Of Public Meetings
The Town will host five in-person public meetings
The Town of Mooresville (Town) is exploring options to expand its wastewater treatment capacity to accommodate its growing population, including a potential increase to the Town's approved legacy interbasin transfer (IBT). Alternatives being considered include expanding discharge at the current treatment plant, discharging into the Catawba River Basin, or diverting wastewater to Charlotte Water. The Town will host five in-person public meetings in: Mooresville, N.C. (Nov. 7), Hickory, NC. (Nov. 12), Monroe, N.C. (Nov. 14), Lancaster, S.C. (Nov. 19) and Mooresville, NC (Nov. 21). The meetings will be an open house format for residents to learn more and provide feedback. More information is available at mooresvillenc.gov/wastewater_capacity.
