William Lawrence Duvall
William Lawrence Duvall, age 78, of Nora Drive in Iron Station, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.
Mr. Duvall was born March 29, 1947, in Muhlenburg County, Kentucky, to the late Paul Lear and Mildred Vincent Duvall. He worked as a planner for Duke Energy.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Duvall of the home; children, Julie Duvall Shives of Iron Station, Robert Duvall of Randleman, Christopher Johnson (Marie) of Rock Hill, SC, and Greylin Johnson of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Kathy Stewart (Tommy) of Gastonia; and four grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Lauren Smith, Carolyn Johnson, and Alexander Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House for their exceptional care.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
