Brenda Ruth Lynn Sox
Brenda Ruth Lynn Sox, 83, of Statesville, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville.
Brenda was born May 19, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Fred Daniel Lynn and Nellie Ruth Dellinger Lynn. She was a member of Monticello Community Church, and she enjoyed painting, drawing and dancing. She loved lighthouses and music…especially Elvis!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Zych.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 31 years, Daniel Sox; sons, Eric Schrum (Sherry), Darrin Schrum (Elizabeth) and Lee Sox; daughter, Wendy Eury (Jerry); 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Lynn (Linda); sister, Faye Eurey (Sid); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 6 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jill Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
