Bobby Adam Burgess
November 20, 1933 – August 10, 2024
DENVER, N.C. - Bobby Adam Burgess, age 90, of Denver passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024 at his residence.
Born November 20, 1933 in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Leve and Sarah Sherill Burgess. Bobby was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, his wife, Evelyn Reel Burgess; three brothers Jerry Burgess, Robert Burgess, Thomas Burgess; two sisters Pauline Lail and Ruth Cooley preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons Alan Burgess of Denver, Bradley Burgess and wife Arrietta of Denver; brother William Burgess of Newton; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church in Maiden with Pastor Darrin Stroud officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-2:45 p.m. at the church.
