Robert Charles Moss
Robert Charles Moss, Sr., age 77, of Stoney Creek Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Autrey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Moss was born June 29, 1947, in Arlington, Virginia, to the late Charles Eskridge Moss and Dorothy Elizabeth Herdt Moss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota Edwards. Robert served in the United States Army. He then worked as a systems engineer for AT&T.
He is survived by his wife, Doris “Dottie” Wood Moss of Lincolnton; son, Robert “Bob” Charles Moss, Jr. (Sherri) of Fredricksburg, VA; daughter, Angela Smith of Lincolnton; sister, Sharon Calvert of Lakeland, CO; four grandchildren, Deidre Messer, Savannah Moss, Caleb Rist, and Hannah Rist; and two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Levi Messer.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Mid-Atlantic Affiliate, memorial Tribute and Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
